Andrew Hopping
Employed by Marsh & Irwin Limited since 1994 – Based in our Pukekohe office.
Andrew was brought up on a dairy farm north of Waiuku and consequently has a strong rural background. He has been valuing lifestyle properties throughout the district since the beginning of the firm. He is also responsible for farm valuations in the wider Franklin/North Waikato Region and has acted for a number of clients in negotiations with Transpower for the purchase and/or compensation relating to the Whakamaru – Otahuhu 440 KVA transmission line, Transpower purchasers plus general finance valuations.
Andrew has also specialised in some of the more intensive farming activities including broiler poultry units, glasshouses and orchards.
Peter Wright
Peter joined Marsh & Irwin Limited in 2008. Prior to this he has worked with various firms throughout Auckland and was last employed by Barker & Morse Limited since 2000.
Peter is responsible mainly for our commercial/industrial portfolio and represents an estimated 70-80 % of property owners in Pukekohe.
Peter completes valuations in the wider Franklin district but also undertakes regular work in Papakura, Takanini and Manukau City.
Based in our Pukekohe Office, Peter is also involved in the lifestyle and residential valuations.
Michael McDavitt
(Date of Registration: 14th September 2009).
Employed with Marsh & Irwin Limited since October 2003 completing his degree at Massey University in 2003.
Michael originally commenced his employment with Marsh & Irwin Limited at our Pukekohe office. He was primarily responsible for residential and lifestyle properties.
Since 2008, Michael has been based in our Takanini Office where he undertakes residential and lifestyle valuations throughout the wider South Auckland area and also travels east to Beachlands, Maraetai and Kawakawa Bay.
Peter Davis
Peter joined Marsh & Irwin Limited in July 2018.
Prior to this Peter had been working for a South Auckland Valuation firm covering Franklin Residential and Lifestyle valuations for the last 2 ½ years. In the same firm, prior to this, Peter assisted a director of the company with Commercial and Industrial valuations.
Peter Completed a Bachelor of Property at Auckland University in 2010.
Peter achieved registration in late 2016.
In August 2018, Peter advanced to Associate Status in the New Zealand Institute of Valuers.
Based in our Pukekohe office, Peter is completing Residential and Lifestyle Valuations in the Franklin area and North Waikato.
Peter is a long term resident of Pukekohe and attended Pukekohe High School.
Sam Blackmore
Sam joined Marsh & Irwin Limited in January 2020 to start his Rural Valuation Career. Commencing his studies for his Bachelor of Agri Commerce majoring in Rural Valuation in 2017. Prior to this Sam enjoyed 9 years in the Royal New Zealand Navy. serving on ships in the Logistics trade.
Having a family farming background and working on a Manawatu farm through university, Sam has a strong interest in farming and property which has pointed him in the direction to specialise in the rural property valuation.
Sam achieved Registered Valuer status in May 2023.
Working alongside Andrew Hopping, Sam is carrying out Farm Valuations in the wider Franklin/Nort Waikato, specilised valuations including Broiler/Poultry units, Glasshouses and Orchards and Residential and Lifestyle Valuations.
